Christening (launching) of USS Enright (DE-216), along with five other Destroyer Escorts;   May 29, 1943.  Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, Pennsylvania.

Note the triple-torpedo tubes between the stack and the anti-aircraft gun.  These torpedo tubes were removed during the collision repair (Apr-May 1944) and replaced with four anti-aircraft guns.

Former USS Enright configured as an Ecuadorian frigate

Former USS Enright was transferred to Ecuador on July 14, 1967.  She was renamed "Veinticinco de Julio" (English translation "25th of July").  Her hull number was E12.
