A Facebook community has been created for USS Enright family and friends.  Our goal is to facilitate communications between family and friends of the USS Enright sailors.  YOU can contribute to the dialog by posting something about you, the sailor in your life, as well as any comments or questions you may have.   In the spirit of inclusiveness, this will be launched as an open community (not requiring approval to join).

Search Engine has been transitioned to a Google-based search engine.  The engine will find the web page containing the search term.  Since this engine was recently created, it will likely take a while before the Google spiders index all of the content.

Biography page has been transitioned into multiple individual biographies.

Alan Kline biography has been added.

Ship's History (Sep 1944 - Jan 1946) has been copied (and reformatted) from Alan Kline's biography.

Carl Mims biography has been added

Everett Decker photos have been added in various locations

Collision repair photos.  Showing the significant damage to the USS Enright after the collision.

Deck Logs added from Jan 1945 to Jan 1946, making a full set from Sep 1943 through Jan 1946.

Documents.  Four additions.

What's New section is updated to reflect all the changes

Lieutenant (junior grade) Robert Enright section is updated with photo and additional information.

Convoys section is created.  Listing each of the 13 convoys in which the USS Enright participated.  Ports of call, departure/arrival dates, and complete lists of each escort and merchant marine ship in the convoy.

Frequently Asked Questions has several new entries courtesy of sailor Al Green.

Earl Dhoore's biography has been added.

Official Letter resulting from the of collision at sea with the Portuguese freighter (April 16, 1944) has been provided by the son of  Lt. Commander Ejnar Carl Hoglund.
